A leaked memo from Nokia CEO Stephen Elop posted at Engadget, has revealed that the company is looking for a huge internal shakeup. This come as the company has failed to gain any significant ground in the last 4 years in the fight to stay a relevant as a smart phone competitor. Since the release of the Apple iPhones and Android phones the company has failed to come up with innovative Smart phones that stand out among the competition.
Nokia sticking with the little changing Symbian OS has a lot to do with its smart phones demise, the latest phones that looked to have been what was needed to change Nokia's fortune such as the Nokia N8 have failed to gain consumers eye.
We will have to wait to see how the company goes after the release the long anticipated Nokia N9 that will be running the MeeGo OS, a Linux derivative.
The leak of the memo is a blow to the company showing how weak and fragile it has become.
