(video transcribed) Today we will be reviewing a phone that has just come out on straight talk it’s the Huawei Ascend II it’s $99 dollars and it’s not a bad little phone for $99 dollars. |

It responds well, I can’t really complain. It has all the applications that you would get with a standard Android installation. It has the Youtube application pre-installed so you defiantly know you’re going to be able to watch youtube on this, and I know this going to mean a lot to a lot of people… there is a lot of people that like to watch youtube when they get bored, while they are waiting somewhere. Gosh who doesn’t seriously. It’s got all the maps and navigational software installed. Which is standard with a lot of the Google Android Operating System phones. |

For a little CDMA phone using the Sprint network this is not bad, this is not a bad phone. There is not a great deal I can say about Android phone as the interface is all the same. So you don’t really want me to explain the interface unless you don’t know Android at all. It has got a 600Mhz Processor in it, so that is enough to be able to play games like Angry Bird that some times lag on some of the slower Android phones. |

You have to use this phone on the $45 dollar a month unlimited plan or the $60 dollar a month unlimited plan which included International calls to certain locations. But still the amount of money you would be paying for a say an unlimited data phone on the Sprint network directly purchased from a Sprint store is probably going to be a lot more. So it is still a very good saving when you’re using this. This phone feels good to touch the plastic backing has a slight rubber coating. So it feels sort of soft to touch. The screen is nice and flexible if you drop this on the ground it probably will not break like an iPhone. Also installed is a microSD card a 4GB and it’s a HC so it’s a little bit faster that old original microSD cards. So putting all your songs on there is going to be an absolute breeze. This is a good phone its $99 you’re not going to cry if it is stolen like you would if you brought a phone that was nearly 1000 dollars. Which Probably does exactly the same things, apart from the fact it doesn’t have at a dual core CPU and stuff. I recommend this phone to people, Huawei have genrally made very cheap phones, I did review a Huawei phone that came out some time ago on at&t and the quality was not fantastic I must say, but this phone shattered that stereo type or really cheap and nasty this is actually reasonably good quality. I think if you going to get one, go on my word and go get one. I think you can take my word for it, you know that I don’t lie about these things. It’s got the 3.5mm head phone jack. This probably the best you will get to seeing one working as the Walmart only has dummy models. So go to wontek .com if you have any questions on this phone, and I will tell you my experiences with it. |
