The new  Motorola Droid 2 from Verizon an interesting phone, one thing that remains a mystery to me how some people claim that the Apple Iphone 4 is a better phone. These claims are crazy. In all honesty I bet they have never used a Droid! and here is why:

This phone has got an easy to use interface much like the Iphone but with the addition of not be restricted to one applications vendor! So my big question before I got one of these phones was:  How do I copy apps to my HD SD-card? and will I be able to copy apps to my SD-card? The answer was yes & yes. So this phone has way more flexibility than the inferior iphone competitor that has no way to backup your applications without a computer. The other great thing is that it has a Memory card slot that is SDHC! Making it in theory able to have 2 TB (TerraByte) of storage which is ridiculously large amount of memory at writing this.

The phone has many applications ready to go from Skype to Google Maps.. there are applications and games for everything.

The camera is 5MP and is just amazing with day and night shots, this photo was taken at night of a random phone,  inch away from the screen.

I would highly recommend the Droid 2, for a person who needs a good quality phone that has had some effort into its production. This phone is also for a person that works hard, not one that has it for status sake. This phone would be a great purchase for a Doctor on the fly in a hospital with the great emerging range of Medical related applications. Or for an auditor that needs to take photos at a job with a camera that leaves it's GPS marking in the photo files.

Games, the phone came with a demo for Need for Speed Shift, I was loading this game feeling a little skeptical of how it would look and work, as the last good game I had played on a phone was on a Nokia N-Gage 5 years ago. The game looked and played sooo good, the steering is done by turning the phone in a  turning motion, and it was spot on, unlike that of the iphone which fails to respond to many quick movements.

It also has a QWERTY keyboard!! this for one is something that the iphone hasn't and never will have.

The phone is solid, has a good weight & feels durable. A great choice for a smart person.

There is so much to this phone you really need to go to a Verizon dealer and check it out, it just one phone you will say does everything, apart from wash your car.
