Straight Talk Unlimited International

Submitted by Eric Smith on Mon, 03/26/2012
Straight Talk has been known for its great deals over time, but I am guessing this will have to be the first time anyone has offered International unlimited Straight Talk Unlimited willl be restricted to landlines within most countries, but they will have unlimited to Mexican cell phones for a trial period. At $60 a month for the Unlimited International calls, this is going to make a lot of people happy that don’t want to use services like Skype or other voice call systems.

Straight Talk 3G slower?

Submitted by Dave Won on Wed, 02/22/2012
If you have noticed that your Straight Talk 3G (AT&T) connection on any of the Nokia phones has slowed over the last few days, then you’re not alone. When a request for a URL or download is made... There is an almost 10-second delay in response before the data comes down the airwaves; other people have been reporting intermittent slower speeds on HowardForum.com Whether this is due to overload of traffic on the AT&T MVNO servers, or AT&T trying to crack down on the overuse of their MVNO network, as has been done with native AT&T unlimited plans it’s anyone’s guess.

Can't wait for the ST LG Optimus 2X? then do this...

Ok, so this video is a quick review of the T-Mobile LG G2X but also to let you know you can get the G2X cheap of the web and just put a Straight Talk Sim card in... as they do sell Sim cards now. Also Simple Mobile sells Sim cards that use the T-Mobile network, with a plan that is $40 for Unlimited everything (3G) so just a heads up for those who can’t wait.

Straight Talk offers SIM cards. http://www.straighttalksim.com/ You no longer need to purchase one of Straight Talks phone in order to enjoy the benefits of the $45 unlimited plans. This is good news for people with unlocked GSM phones who want unlimited 3G, Talk & Text. This has got to be the best thing to happen since the day Straight Talk was first announced. The sim card kit is $14.99 at the Straight Talk sim card site: http://www.straighttalksim.com/ The cards are available in both microsim and regular sim cards size so you can even hook your iPad up to the 3G service. So getting your current model of phone on T-Mobile or AT&T might just be worth it.

Straight Talk LG Optimus 2X 4G Review

For most people this phone to get outright at $249 might be hard to afford, but if you can muster the cash, this phone sure is with every penny. I really don’t think anyone could have guessed that this phone would be coming out on Straight Talk & Net10 on the $45 unlimited plan. This phone is big, solid and powerful. I mean you can't expect anything more really for the price. Next thing Samsung Galaxy S II will be on Straight Talk. Anyway, the phone is really nice… exactly the same as the G2X that came out on T-Mobile last year, and nothing has been skipped. It has the same FCC ID. We already knew this but just to confirm the phone is using T-Mobile’s network... Which officially means Straight Talk has used every major network. The 8 MegaPixel camera on this phone is good during the day, but night shots with the LED flash are not good.

More Android based phones are on the way from Straight Talk Prepaid, which is exciting news for Straight Talk fans. It seems that Straight Talk just keep pushing and pushing the envelope when it comes to prepaid smart phones. In the third quarter we got the LG Optimus Q and Samsung Galaxy Precedent. Soon the company will have under its belt the LG Optimus Black and the LG Optimus 2X for sale of Straight Talk and Net10's website. The big question is will this phone be on the AT&T network or T-Mobile? 2012 will be a great year for prepaid. We’re excited!

Straight Talk LG Optimus Q Review

The LG Optimus Q, Straight Talk’s second Android phone is on its way. If you're interested you can already pre-order the phone at Straight Talk reserve order page here: http://reserve.straighttalkandroid.com/. This is a great phone with the addition of a full QWERTY keyboard. The LG Optimus Q is not a new model, it came out last year. This phone should be better than the Samsung Galaxy Precedent, LG from my experience have always made better phones. So this LG Optimus Q should make the competition worry. It is however going to be on the Sprint Network so check coverage maps before you order.
